A lot is happening now with your baby’s eyes
At 27 weeks, your baby’s eyes are open and they can blink in response to bright light.
At 30 weeks, the pupils are able to constrict and expand, allowing the eyes to let in more or less light.
Your baby’s retina has more rods than cones at this point, they may be able to detect the dim outlines of shapes but not their colours.
